Who’s in charge here?

Mike Davis - Head of Everything

Mike is a freelance colourist who once put down ‘head of everything’ as his job title when visiting a trade show for a side business. He didn’t realise they’d put it on his name badge and he’d have to walk around like that, looking like a plum. Luckily it turned out to be a good conversation starter so he’s stuck with it.

Anyway, when he’s not telling meandering stories and writing in the third person, he’s a colourist. Working in post for the best part of 20 years. He does a mix of dailies grading on Big Things, finishing colour on documentaries, corporate bits, all sorts. He’s worked on Mission Impossibles, films featuring Batmen, Barbae, Wizards, Wonkas and about three dozen others.

He’s been freelance since 2019. He came up with the idea of WRAPPP after seeing so many colleagues struggle to find consistent post work and be self-reliant in This Day and Age. WRAPPP is what he wished he’d had when he started on that exact same journey.

He apologises for using the word ‘journey’. He’s neither a biblical character nor a spiritual guru of any kind.

Catherine Crawley - Head of Marketing

Catherine Crawley is a marketeer, social media consultant and events manager with many decades of experience in TV post production, digital agencies and in recent years leading global marketing for historical British cinema lens Cooke Optics and for US virtual production industry pioneers Lux Machina Consulting.

She connected with Mike on Linkedin after his epic viral post on conkers and colour science.
